The Four Horsemen - The Rider On The White Horse

Go online and click on your favorite search engine. Type in "Four Horsemen of Revelation" and then click on images. In quite a few images that you find of the four horsemen spoken of in the book of Revelation, you'll find that the rider of the white horse is holding a bow and is pulling the string taut as he prepares to fire an arrow. The majority of the images of this rider also depict him as wearing a golden crown. There's a problem with these images... they're not accurate interpretations of the word of God.

The book of Revelation states that the rider of the white horse has a bow, but it makes no mention of any arrow. Here, read it for yourself, "And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering and to conquer." Rev 6:2.  

Why do most pictures of this rider on the white horse show him ready to fire an arrow? I can only speculate, but you have to admit that a rider ready to let fly his deadly arrow makes for a dramatic scene, right? We also have to consider that artists often take liberties when it comes to creating artwork that pertains to scripture. Many artists may be relying on their own worldly understanding of who or what the four horsemen really are, relying on stories they've heard or images they've seen, perpetuating the false picture of arrows and golden crowns. No matter what the reason, the image does not line up with biblical truth.

What kind of crown is the rider of the white horse wearing?  "And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering and to conquer." Rev 6:2. There are two words for "crown" in the bible.  One is a "diadem," which is a kingly crown.  The other is a "stephanos," which is a victor's crown. In the case of the rider on the white horse, the latter is used in this scripture.  He's not wearing a gold kingly crown, he's wearing a victor's crown, like a crown of laurel leaves.

We are then told that, "he went forth conquering and to conquer."  That can be a little confusing, since he's not really wielding a formidable weapon, right? I'll explain that in a moment.

Let's paint this picture correctly now, shall we?  

"And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow;" The rider on the white horse symbolically has a weapon in his hand, but it is of no threat to anyone because a bow, without arrows, is really no weapon at all. This symbolizes that he will arrive on the scene as a man with a powerful but non-threatening personality. His choice of weapon will not be of military means, but of a personality that exudes confidence and authority, offering sound diplomatic solutions to the world's ills (especially the problems that have dominated the Middle East since the birth of Israel).

"...and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering and to conquer." The laurel crown that the rider is described as wearing is a symbol of the authority that he will have during this critical time in earth's history.  It is an authority that has not been earned by him, but, as the scripture states, an authority that is given to him. Who gives man authority, whether it's you, me or the Antichrist? You know the answer... God. God allows Satan to begin ramping up his end-time plan with the introduction of this rider on the white horse. 

So, what does he conquer? He conquers the minds and hearts of mankind. To the world, he will be seen as a "savior." He attempts to bring the world together in a one world system of government, religion and economics. You are probably telling yourself, "Surely everyone will see through this man." Your assumption would be incorrect. I say that because scripture also states, "And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness." 2 Thess 2:11-12.

Next time you see a picture of the rider on the white horse, check out the weapon he's holding and the crown he's wearing.  You'll find, like I did, that most of the artistic interpretations of this portion of scripture depict a rider with one or both of these errors contained in their artwork.

As the millennial reign of Christ approaches, so do the ominous hoof beats of the coming Tribulation. Biblical prophecy makes it clear that God's going to send a powerful delusion upon an unrepentant population. (2 Thess. 2:8-12)

Ever since sin entered the garden, mankind has chosen self over God. It's the result of our fallen nature. The desire to live our own lives apart from God is just as strong today as it was in the beginning, the evidence of which we can find in the myriad of false religions and belief systems in the world. We have Wicca, Scientology, Humanism, Buddhism, Shintoism, Universalism, Rastafarianism, Agnosticism, Atheism, Islam, etc... Mankind's attempt to bring meaning to their lives apart from the One True God continues to occupy the minds of the majority of the population as they spend their time fulfilling their own desires and seeking their own "truth"... a truth that fits their own individual moral code. Christians know there is only one "truth," and that is Jesus. 

What happens when an individual, group, city, nation or worldwide population becomes stiff necked, hard-hearted, and turn their backs on God, choosing instead to satisfy their own fleshly desires and worship their own false gods? The bible is full of examples of the consequences of these actions. Here are just a few you may be familiar with:

- The fall of mankind in the Garden of Eden. (Genesis 3)

- The great worldwide flood. (Genesis 6-7)

- The destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah and their inhabitants. (Genesis 19:1-25)

- The fall of Nineveh (Nahum 1-3)

- 40 Years of God's people wandering in the desert, denying an entire generation entrance into the promised land. (Numbers 14)

... and numerous incidences of God's chosen being taken into captivity.

After these judgments, mankind, as a whole, has still refused to repent. Lessons learned are soon forgotten as time passes and memories fade, taking what was once a mighty work of God and diminishing it to the point where it's seen as just an old fable. So here we are today, in what people would like to believe is a more enlightened age. As mankind continues to push God away, they are unwittingly setting themselves up for the consequences to follow, just as those who have lived before us have done. This time, the consequences will involve falling under a strong delusion that God's going to send during the Tribulation.

What exactly is the definition of a delusion?

Strong's: Delusion(4106) plané Error, delusion, deception

Oxford Dictionary: "an idiosyncratic belief or impression that is firmly maintained despite being contradicted by what is generally accepted as reality or rational argument..."

Cambridge Dictionary: "something a person believes and wants to be true, when it is actually not true"

Mirriam Webster: "something that is falsely or delusively believed or propagated"

Some of the consequences of this "delusion" will be:

- Being ensnared by a one world religion and one world government/economic system

- Receiving the mark of the Beast, which will mean declaring themselves an enemy of God, suffering God's wrath during the Tribulation, and sealing their ultimate fate.

- Being deceived into believing that Christians are the enemy and participating in the worldwide persecution and execution of born-again believers.

So, who exactly are these people who will fall under this strong deceptive influence? Read Romans 1:18-32, John 8:42-47, and 2 Thess. 2:8-12. As you can see, mankind hasn't changed throughout the course of human history. Mankind's increase in knowledge has allowed us to invent new and convenient ways to sin, but our sin nature has not changed. Sin also challenges born-again believers, who continue to live in these fleshly tents and experience daily battles.

Man's heart is wicked, God's word tells us so (Jeremiah 17:9, Matthew 15:19). Being under the influence of this strong delusion will cause reason and sound logic to fly out the window. As a result, most, if not all, will never experience a repentant heart as they endure the judgments of God during the Tribulation. No. Instead of coming to God on their knees, they will do just the opposite. They will shake their fists at God, curse Him, and reject Him. (Rev. 16:8-11)

God will be sending this strong delusion at a time when born-again believers have already been raptured, rescued in the blink of an eye from the 7-year Tribulation to come. Those remaining on the earth will be in one of two groups:

- Those who repent and believe (yes, it is still possible to become a born-again believer during the Tribulation).

- Those who will continue to reject God.

Unfortunately, with the Holy Spirit no longer holding back the full force of evil in the world after the rapture, Christians during this time will suffer worldwide persecution. That would include the United States as well. Even now, Christians are being persecuted all over the world. Even in the United States, bible believing Christians are being classified as radicals and possible terrorists. We are in the first stages of worsening persecution.

During the Tribulation, those living under this strong delusion will honestly believe that they are performing a beneficial act for the good of mankind and world peace by persecuting, incarcerating, torturing and killing those that they deem "intolerant," "racist," "judgmental," "divisive," "dangerous," "phobic," and, believe it or not, "delusional." But that's not all. Sin's ferocity, no longer restrained, will be multiplied many times over. If the unsaved are willing to try and beat down the doors of the Supreme Court, riot and burn down and destroy neighborhoods, physically attack and "cancel" those who disagree with them, and label truth as lie while ignoring or distorting the evidence, as we've witnessed in recent history, if they snap at a moment's notice and verbally and/or physically attack someone who doesn't support their cause to murder babies in the wombs of their mothers, if they are willing to flaunt their hatred by holding up and effigy of a president's bloody, severed head, if they can go on television or stand on their soap box in public to incite groups of other individuals to harass law abiding citizens, if they can call for the death of those who don't agree with their sinful beliefs, if they can do all this and more in the name of what they deem is "right" in their eyes at this moment in history, then when the full force of sin is released, the harassing, beating, torturing and killing of Christians will become the answer to their "prayers." 

This strong delusion will help the Antichrist affirm his position as the head of the New World Order, a one world government. Those unsaved individuals who are under this strong delusion will see the Antichrist as mankind's savior, during a time of economic and social upheaval. When the Antichrist is killed and then "resurrected" a few days later during the middle of the Tribulation and at the start of the Great Tribulation, he will secure his place as their temporary "god." 

To recap:

- Biblical prophecy reveals that God is going to send a strong worldwide delusion during the Tribulation.

- This delusion will affect everyone who is not a true born-again believer.

- Those under this delusion will eagerly and willingly take the mark of the Beast and even worship him and his image.

- Christians will be persecuted and martyred by those who believe they are actually doing what is right in their eyes.

- Biblical history reveals a multitude of examples of God's righteous judgments against a wicked, rebellious and unrepentant individual, group, city, nation and world population.

- This delusion will help cement the position of the Antichrist as the head of the one world government and as mankind's "savior."

- This is just the precursor to their eventual defeat and eternal punishment.

Don't leave yourself open to this delusion. Repent and be forgiven! Believe and be saved!

Obama Blindsided By The New World Order

This blog was originally written May 11, 2013, when President Obama was still in office. I removed it from my list of published articles after he left office because I didn't think it was relevant, since he was no longer president, but I'm reactivating it just because of the times in which we're currently living and for the fact that, although he's no longer president, he's still actively operating in the background of politics. Please note that although this is my original article, I've added a few brief updates to bring it more in line with current issues we're facing today.

I had a dream, and in this dream, I had been invited to a two day function held by the world elites. I had absolutely no idea why I had been placed on the invitation list. In this dream, I was trying to find the proper clothes to wear before heading down to the banquet hall. Most of the clothes I had with me were dirty and lay strewn across the floor, but I managed to find something clean to put on. I thought it strange that the room I had been given was just a bedroom and not a hotel suite.

There must have been about 200 to 300 people in the banquet room, maybe more. President Obama was among them. Mixed in with the elite were about 25 – 50 people like me, who were just ordinary working class people. There was a podium in the main event room from which various individuals were taking turns giving speeches. Security was being taken seriously because the number of security personnel was off the chart.

The central theme of this event was focused around a woman, who, by her photo, appeared to be Hispanic or Latino, and who had immigrated to America. She had died and the discussion at all of the short high level meetings in the banquet hall was whether we, as a nation, should celebrate this woman's life. There were some people in the room who thought, as I did, that it made no sense because she had not made any significant contribution to our country and her story didn't demand such a nationwide response. I can't remember the exact details of why they felt it was imperative that they go forward with this plan quickly, but President Obama and the elites expressed their desire to use her death for their own political and personal benefit (sound familiar?). 

At this point in the dream, because some of us were questioning the motivation behind this push for a national celebration, we suddenly began to fear as if our lives were in danger; that the President could, at any moment, give the word and a sharpshooter would just take us out. We were bucking the system and not going along with the majority of people who were pushing this narrative, and that was making us targets.

While eating dinner, I felt the eyes of the elite trained on me, especially the ones who were sitting close to me. They were listening to my conversations and were looking at me like I was some kind of river rat who had been invited into their private world, and they weren't happy about it. I felt very awkward and out of place. Some of the elite were self-made millionaires/billionaires who came from nothing, so unlike the other elites who came from "old money," they didn't have a problem with me being there. There were also powerful celebrities at this banquet who were counted among the elite. Don't ask me who these celebrities were, because I don't remember. That's a piece of information I somehow didn't retain (or was forbidden by God to retain). 

The table at which we sat had a partition located directly in front of us. On the other side of this partition was the kitchen, ready to serve you whatever you wanted. All the food was served almost immediately, even though it was made to order. There was a really strange machine that guests would use to wash their hands after dinner. Everyone would queue up to use the same machine. There were special wireless glasses that you had to wear to use this hand washing machine. By tapping the frame of the glasses, a menu would appear on the lens where you could choose the water temp, the speed of the water flow, the amount of soap to dispense, etc... (Glasses like these weren't even invented at the time I had this dream. Now I call that prophetic...lol) When I got to the machine, I had no idea how to use it, so I had to call up the instructions on the machine's flat screen monitor, which gave me a brief 60-second tutorial on how to operate the glasses. Well, by the time I finished washing my hands and was handing the glasses off to the next person, the line was very long, so I was getting a lot of angry looks from people who were very upset by my lack of experience in using this handwashing machine, and because of how long they had to wait in line.

As the dream progressed, the discussion turned to a particular type of weapon that had been developed to be issued to all military branches and to all law enforcement agencies nationwide. It was a type of energy weapon. It was like a super powered taser, only it didn't shoot wires with barbs on the end, it actually shot a stream of electricity.

Suddenly we were notified that there was an emergency news broadcast. The whole banquet room got quiet very quickly. All the lights were dimmed and the monitors were brought up. As I sat alone at a white rectangular table, President Obama appeared and stood on my immediate left. Ignoring me, he clasped the edge of the table with both hands and leaned in to watch the news broadcast along with the rest of us. There was some sort of huge nationwide uprising. This was it! American citizens were standing against the NWO. The military and all law enforcement agencies had already been issued their new energy weapons. As they began targeting people, we all became aware that these weapons weren't made to just take you down, they were made to take you out! They began shooting armed and unarmed individuals, not incapacitating them for arrest, but actually killing them! 

At first the guests at the event the lethal response, but they soon became weary, as they began to comprehend the enormity of the situation and what it might mean to their own personal wealth, power, and safety.

There were some ground vehicles that could actually lift off and fly in the air. They were small one-man vehicles. They could fly on their own or be coupled together (like cars on a train). They were trying to escape the madness on the ground, but they soon found out that they were being followed by uniformed personnel in their own one-man vehicles. These uniformed individuals began shooting down the civilian vehicles left and right, causing civilians to fall to their death. (Could the different vehicles that I saw in the sky in this dream be in reference to various sized aircraft? Everything from single prop planes to private jets to commercial airlines? Could this mean that military aircraft will be shooting down planes? It's a possibility.)

President Obama's reaction was like someone who had been left out of the loop. I got the impression that although he knew the moment was coming, the exact timing of the event wasn't something of which he had any knowledge. He was learning about it in real time, just like us. He even seemed a little disappointed that we had been brought to this point. He seemed to have hoped that the response of the American people wouldn't have been so severe in order to accomplish NWO goals. He just turned from the monitors and resigned himself to the fact that the NWO was now in the process of exerting complete control over the nation. He didn't call DHS or DOD or anyone else to try to stop what was happening. He just let the scenario play itself out.

That was when the elite at the event started fearing for their own personal safety. Like... “Is there nothing that President Obama wouldn't do to get what he wants? Are we all expendable?” (Now, to be clear, I'm not pinning this event on Obama. I think he's just a figurehead in this dream. After all, he wasn't the one calling the shots at this point. To the NWO, he's just as expendable as the rest of us.)

Snipers began taking people out one by one at the event. Then I thought I had seen someone I knew. She walked right past me and went outside without even acknowledging me. I went outside to try to find her. I called her name and when I looked to my right, she was already in her vehicle. She just drove right past me ignoring me as if I wasn't even there.

That's when I realized that she wasn't who I thought she was. She was a decoy sent to get me outside. I immediately looked up and spotted a couple of snipers on top of a tall building on the far side of the property. I put two and two together and realized they wanted to take me out, so I immediately ran back inside and tried to put something between me and the expansive glass façade at the front of the building.

Then the dream flash forwarded. The shooting was over. I was now standing outside near the parking lot. There were some vehicles still left abandoned in the lot. I somehow knew that most of the guests had been killed by the snipers. Although I couldn't see their bodies, I instinctively knew they were dead. I also knew that some of them had survived and had fled on foot. I walked past a small row of cars and just kept walking... alone. There was no one else around.  Anyone who wasn't dead was gone, even the snipers.

That's when I woke up.

Here are a few things I took away from this dream at the time.

• It doesn't matter how rich or powerful you are; it doesn't matter if you're a famous influencer on social media; it doesn't matter how politically connected you are; it doesn't matter if you're a Hollywood celebrity; to those who want to take over the world, everyone is expendable. Even during the Tribulation, EVERYONE will be ordered to received the Mark of the Beast, no exceptions. Even those who thought themselves in control of everything will be forced by the Antichrist to take his mark or die.

• We all know that there are some troops and law enforcement officers who will not think twice about arresting, persecuting, torturing, and/or killing US citizens. The status of the individual doesn't matter. We've seen it in the past, it's happening now, and it will occur in the future. During the Tribulation, people will be ratted out, hunted down, and even killed by those who believe that they're doing a service to mankind and to the world. I'm sure they'll be rewards on the head of every born again believer at that time (whether the reward is in status or is financial). I'm reminded of an article years ago where they reported that the military leadership was instructed to ask troops if they were willing to fire on U.S. citizens if necessary. Those who said they refused were being quietly let go at the end of their tour of duty.

A while after this article was written, Google glass became a reality, so the technology in my dream has actually been invented! 

Many local police departments have now been militarized, giving police some of the same vehicles, body armor and equipment that's used by our military forces. This coincides with my vision of military and local law enforcement sharing the same military technology.

With the massive illegal penetration into United States through our southern boarder, will there be an event that will take the life of a Hispanic/Latino woman that will spark the politicization of this event by the political elites and the rich and powerful (in other words, the NWO) for their own benefit? If the past few years have been any indication, the answer would be a resounding "Yes!"

It's been over 10 years since I first wrote this article, and as time passes, this dream seems to become more plausible. I doubt I will be invited to an actual banquet to stand elbow to elbow with the elite, but perhaps I was invited by the Lord to be an observer to a prophetic view of what's to become of this nation. Is this a warning of the downfall of the United States and an exit from the world stage, thus allowing the Antichrist to finally take power? The United States has been the nation of people that has taken on the task of fighting tyranny in this world and has stood for individual freedom, but as morals erode and the enemy is openly worshipped through entertainment, and as our government becomes more corrupt as the demonic powers and principalities strengthen their grip, it's not difficult to imagine a time when our nation will collapse under it's own sin. A house divided against itself cannot stand. Suddenly, God's gentle hand will become hard, and judgment will be upon this nation.

What Can We Expect From Martial Law?

Although I previously wrote an article about potential scenarios that Christians could relate to if we ever found ourselves in a state of Martial Law.  I'd like to take a more secular view on Martial Law to show that it would not just affect the born again believer in Christ (even though it will curtail our worship).  Let me begin once again by briefly defining what Martial Law is.

Typically, the imposition of Martial Law accompanies curfews, the suspension of civil law, civil rights, habeas corpus, and the application or extension of military law or military justice to civilians. In other words, say goodbye to the United States as you've known it and embrace an extremely altered future.

So, what exactly does that mean? Well, it means that every aspect of life as we know it here in the United States would be under the control of the government.  That doesn't sound too bad, until you begin dissecting what that entails.

Mandatory curfews

• In the case of extreme emergency, no one would be allowed on the streets at all 24/7. 
• As things improved, citizens would be ordered to be in their home by a certain time and not allowed out again until the curfew was lifted. In this instance, curfew would probably be from sunset to sunrise, ensuring that no one would be out on the streets during nighttime hours.

Transportation curtailed (shipping, aviation, ground transport, railways, etc…)  Note: Executive Order 11005 allows the government to take over railroads, inland waterways, and public storage facilities.  Executive Order 11003 allows the government to take over all airports and aircraft, including commercial aircraft.

• Only military and government personnel allowed on highways.
• All airlines and other aviation traffic will be grounded.
• Military checkpoints will be set up, restricting transportation to local areas only.
• Transportation of goods nationwide will be curtailed. All goods will be obtained through government run distribution centers. These goods include: medical supplies, prescriptions, food, clothing, fuel, cigarettes  liquor, water, baby formula, diapers/incontinence items, pain reliever, personal hygiene items, pet food, etc…
• Railroads will be drafted for use by the government for the transportation of supplies and weapons.

Communications monitored

• Landlines and cell phones
• All forms of online communication

Control of all media  Note: Executive Order 10995 allows the government to seize and control the communication media.

• Television and radio stations will be controlled by the government and will only be allowed to transmit government approved messages and news (expect quite a bit of propaganda).  
• The same will hold true for printed media.

Suspension of civil law, civil rights, habeas corpus, and will replace this with military law or military justice.

• The Constitution will no longer be valid.
• All laws will be based on military law.
• Civil rights will no longer be applicable.
• Habeas corpus will be nonexistent.
• They can arrest you for whatever reason they want.
• They can imprison you without charging you with a crime.
• They can imprison you indefinitely (10, 20, 50 years).
• They are not obligated to provide you with a lawyer.
• You are never guaranteed to see a judge or to enter a courtroom during your entire incarceration.
• No hesitation… If you're out on the street during curfew or if you're deemed a threat for any reason, you can be shot without warning.  It doesn't matter if you're elderly, pregnant or a child.  If you think that can't happen, click here.
• Your home may be searched for any reason and at any time without a warrant.
• Eventually, you will not be allowed to grow your own food (even in a backyard garden) or to raise your own livestock for food.

Identification  Note: Executive Order 11002 designates the Postmaster General to operate a national registration of all persons.

• As Martial Law becomes the norm, everyone will be ordered to obtain a national identification card.
• You will be required to produce the proper identification upon request by any peace officer, US military personnel, UN peacekeeping forces and DHS/TSA personnel.

Relocation  Note: Executive Order 11004 allows the Housing and Finance Authority to relocate and establish new locations for populations.

• Individuals in rural areas of the community will be relocated to a more densely populated area or to a FEMA camp for their own “safety.”
• Individuals resisting Martial Law will be sent to a FEMA camp for “re-education.”
• Christians, who will refuse to sin against the Lord, and will have to disobey orders that would cause emotional or physical harm to others
• Patriots, who will defend the now defunct Constitution.

Slave to the System  Note: Executive Order 11000 allows the government to mobilize civilians into work brigades under government supervision.

• Those who have been receiving assistance from the government through food stamps, welfare, etc.. will be required to work for the system in order to continue receiving this assistance. 
• Those who have become unemployed due to travel restrictions will also be required to work for the government.
• Refuse collection and roadside cleanup
• Rebuilding and repairing roads
• Volunteering as clerks at government distribution centers
• Participate in community beautifying programs
• Work in menial government support positions
• Planting, maintaining and harvesting GMO crops

Where's My Money!  Note: Executive Order 11921 allows the Federal Emergency Preparedness Agency to develop plans to establish control over the mechanisms of production and distribution of energy sources, wages, salaries, credit, and the flow of money in U.S. financial institutions in any undefined national emergency.

• Bank accounts will be seized
• Employee pay rates will be regulated
• The flow of money, including all credit, will be controlled

Resources  Note: Executive Order 10997 allows the government to take over all electrical power, gas, petroleum, fuels, and minerals.

• Rolling blackouts will become the norm.
• Those showing any resistance will have their resources discontinued (water, electricity, gas, propane, cable/satellite television).

Health and Education  Note: Executive Order 11001 allows the government to take over all health, education, and welfare functions.

• Medical and dental care will be rationed.
• Those needing psychiatric care will be sent to a facility for their "personal safety."
• Schools will managed directly by the government. They will will receive instructions and government approved materials to be taught to students from K-College levels.

Redistricting and Elections

• Eventually, counties, regions and states will be redistricted as Martial Law maintains its grip on the nation. The country will be broken up into large regions instead of individual states. This will void individual state sovereignty and consolidate resources.
• Elections will become a thing of the past. The president will work closely with his advisers to seek representatives who he can trust to enforce his decrees.  Those individuals will be placed in the seats of power in each region.

These are just a few examples of what awaits us when our economy implodes or if the US is hit with a huge false flag event (possibly something that affects major areas of the nation).  It could only be a few weeks or a few months away.  How much of what I described will we have to endure before the Lord returns?  We just don't know.  Martial law doesn't even compare to what’s ahead for those who will go through the seven-year Tribulation. It’s just the beginning of a world system that will affect everyone living on the planet, believers and nonbelievers alike.

During the Tribulation, there will be only one hope, and that hope is Jesus Christ.  It's the hope of salvation through the blood of Jesus, a hope sealed by the Holy Spirit, a hope to be realized by our physical death or by the glorious appearance of Jesus Christ at the end of the Tribulation. As we watch the signs of the times, prepare for the worst but hope for the best. Prepare for martial law, but hope that the Rapture precedes it.

Some Good News About The Tribulation

Yeah, you read that right. I just finished an article for my blog and while searching the scriptures, I found a nugget… a big fat nugget. I thought you might want to know about it, so here we go!

I found this nugget while reading chapters 13 & 14 in the book of Revelation.  Here is the scripture for those of you who aren’t running to get your bible or clicking on your desktop icon to pull up your favorite bible software. I apologize in advance for copying chapter 13 in its entirety, but I wanted to put the underlined portion of scripture in context. You can just read the underlined portion if you prefer, because that’s the portion I’ll be referring to.

Chapter 13 (KJV)

¹And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. ²And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority. ³And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast. ⁴And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him? ⁵And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months. ⁶And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven. ⁷And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. ⁸And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. ⁹If any man have an ear, let him hear. ¹⁰He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints. ¹¹And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. ¹²And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. ¹³And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, ¹⁴And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. ¹⁵And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. ¹⁶And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: ¹⁷And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. ¹⁸Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

So we see here a picture of the Beast and the False Prophet in the last half of the Tribulation, which is known as the Great Tribulation. He orders an image of the Beast to be made. He then “gives life” to this image so that it speaks. This image demands to be worshiped, using death as a punishment for disobedience. Everyone is then commanded to receive the mark of the beast in their forehead or right hand. Anyone who refuses this mark will be prohibited from purchasing or selling anything.

You may be asking yourself where the good news is in all of this. Hold on, it’s coming. It’s found in Revelation 14.

Chapter 14 (KJV)

¹And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads. ²And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps: ³And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth. ⁴These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb. ⁵And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God. ⁶And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, ⁷Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters. ⁸And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication. ⁹And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, ¹⁰The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: ¹¹And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name. ¹²Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus. ¹³And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them…

Did you see it? The good news? For those of you who missed it, here it is:

Our loved ones and friends who remain after the Rapture will be given absolute 100% proof that God exists, thus giving them another chance to repent! 

Chapter 13 describes what’s going to happen, but chapter 14 lets us know that God is going to send angels to shout with a loud voice warning the inhabitants of the earth to fear God and give Him glory! Read the underlined portion of chapter 14 again. These are the words that will be heard by everyone on the earth at this point and time in the Tribulation. They’re encouraged to give their lives to God and to reject the mark of the Beast and to refrain from worshiping the Beast. 

How do I know that what is written about in Chapter 14 will take place before, or just as, the mark of the Beast and the worship of his image is made mandatory as described in chapter 13? If that wasn't the case, then the warning would be moot.

Chapter 13 reveals to us what Satan’s plan will be, but chapter 14 shows us that God has a plan to warn everyone on the planet before these new laws can be instituted by the Beast.

So there it is. Take comfort in knowing that even when we’re gone, the Lord has prepared so much for those who remain here on the earth during that time of Tribulation. He has prepared the two Witnesses, the 144,000 Messianic Jews, and he will send angels to audibly warn the entire population of the planet against worshiping the Beast and taking his mark.

Thank you, Lord God, for tempering Your anger during the Tribulation and allowing those who are lost opportunity upon opportunity to repent during this time of Tribulation. May all glory and honor be to You Lord God, forever and ever!  Amen!

Why I Believe President Obama Is NOT The Antichrist

There are Christians who are absolutely convinced that President Obama is the Antichrist.  I am not one of them.  Although I have never given this theory any serious consideration, I have decided to take another look at this issue.  I will try to approach the subject with an open mind and see whether my personal feelings on the issue were blinding me to the truth, or whether I was correct in my convictions.  I'm going to delve into this and learn along with you.  Here we go.

Where did Barack Obama come from?

The Antichrist will supposedly come from a country that was part of the Greek Empire of Alexander the Great. Gabriel states that following the death of Alexander, the empire will be divided into four parts. From one of those four parts, the Antichrist will arise:

“And the shaggy goat is the king of Greece. And the great horn between his eyes is the first king.  ²²And as for that being broken, and four stood up in its place; four kingdoms shall stand up out of the nation, but not in its power.  ²³And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors have come to the full, a king, fierce of face, and skilled at intrigues, shall stand up. ²⁴And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power. And he shall destroy marvelously, and shall prosper and work, and destroy the mighty and the holy people.”  (Dan 8:21-24  MKJV)

“And they worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast. And they worshiped the beast, saying, Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with it?”  (Rev 13:4 MKJV) 

Most say that Obama was born in Hawaii, but some remain steadfast claiming that he was born in Kenya.  We know that Hawaii wasn’t part of the Greek Empire, but was Kenya?  No, it wasn’t.  Neither was it a part of the Roman Empire.

Is Obama a peaceful conqueror?

The Antichrist will show up on the scene as a peacemaker.  The first seal shows him appearing on the scene riding a white horse and with a bow in his hand.  He comes to conquer the world by peaceful means, hence no arrows.

“And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard one of the four living creatures like a sound of thunder, saying, Come and see. ²And I saw. And behold a white horse! And he sitting on it had a bow. And a crown was given to him, and he went forth conquering and to conquer.”  (Rev. 6:1-2 MKJV)

Although Obama campaigned on a platform of hope and change and even though he received the Nobel Peace Prize, he hasn't made it a priority to conquer through peaceful measures.  He’s done exactly the opposite.  We are involved militarily in more countries than ever before and the use of armed drones has multiplied under Obama’s watch.  This is a man with a quiver filled with arrows who conquered through military might and not through peaceful actions.

The Mahdi has arrived… or is that the Messiah?

The Antichrist would have to deceive many into believing that he is a representation of all religions.  He would have to deceive many into believing that all the religions of the world were just a part of a larger fabric of who God is.  He would need to be charismatic and energetic, handsome and trustworthy, humble yet strong in character.  He must be someone who both Jewish and Muslim alike will accept as the fulfillment of their faith’s prophecies.

The Jewish nation is looking for a man sent by God to be king of Israel, ushering in peace forever.  The Muslim nations are looking for their Mahdi who will come and rule the world through Islam.  This charismatic man will not only deceive those who believe in the Messiah and the Mahdi, but he will also deceive those of other religions as well into believing that he is the manifestation of their god’s promise of peace on earth.

I have a theory.  If the Antichrist is going to lead both the Jewish and Muslim crowd, he would need to come from both cultures.  I believe that the Antichrist will be both Jewish and Muslim (Jewish from his mother’s side, which by tradition would make him a Jew; Muslim from his father’s side, which by tradition would make him a Muslim). 

And where would Christianity fit into all of this?  If the bride of Christ has been raptured by this point, many of those remaining “christians” would be deceived into believing that this was the return of Jesus (especially if the pope was the false prophet).  With everything Christians and Muslims know about Obama, do we honestly believe that the majority of the world would consider him the incarnation of the Messiah/Mahdi?  Not likely.

Antichrist revealed!
That’s kind of a misleading headline.  Actually, we can’t be certain of who the Antichrist is until the signing of the peace agreement between Israel and her enemies.  Only then can we be positive.

Example:  Many Christians believed that one of two individuals would be elected as pope because they had the name “Peter” in their name (Tarcisio Pietro Evasio Bertone and Cardinal Peter Kodwo Appiah Turkson).  This is in regard to the Malachy prophecy about the 112th pope who would be known as  Petrus Romanus.  I even saw a YouTube video where an individual said he had a dream and that he was led by God to believe that  Cardinal Peter Kodwo Appiah Turkson would become the new pope.  He was so convinced of this that he made a video and put it out on YouTube.  Needless to say, he was utterly confused when the election didn't pan out the way he thought it would.  

So, what happened?  A cardinal that came out of nowhere (as far as the rest of the world was concerned) was elected to the position.  Although he came in second to Pope Benedict in the last conclave, there was no expectation that he would be considered this time around because of his age.  Here, Christians were looking for a clear indication that Petrus Romanus had been elected.  Clearly, they didn’t get what they had expected.

Looking at that example, the same can probably be said about the Antichrist.  We can point our fingers at individuals who exhibit anti-Christ like behavior, but until the peace treaty is signed, we can’t be sure WHO the Antichrist is.  After all, the Antichrist won’t arrive on the scene in such a way that people will call him “Antichrist.”  No.  He will arrive on the scene in such a way that people will call him their “savior.”  Whatever happens, I don’t believe that the Antichrist will be identified until he comes from behind the scenes of peace negotiations and is found to have brokered a peace between Israel and her enemies.

Answer this next question truthfully.  Is it possible that Obama is NOT the Antichrist and that his anti-Christ like behavior is being used by the enemy to divert our attention away from someone else rising to power in some European nation?  Here’s another question.  Do you honestly think that the Antichrist would appear in such a way that it would be easy to identify him?

The Bottom Line
We can play with his name (Baraq “o” bama = Lightning from high places), we can talk about attributes he has (attributes that will only be exhibited by the Antichrist during the “Great Tribulation” period and not at this point in history), we can talk about his false Christianity and his Muslim background, but we’re just being lead around by the nose when we focus on those things.  Those are the shiny baubles being presented by the enemy that are meant to divert our attention.  The truth lies much deeper.

We need to stop trying to fit Obama into biblical prophecy concerning the Antichrist and allow prophecy to point us in the right direction.  Prophecy is our compass and it points to the one who will deceive the nations. 

There are some Christians who believe that they have an “in” with God and they are among the few who know who the Antichrist really is.  To those who think that way, I must humbly rebuke you.  You are allowing yourselves to be deceived by the enemy and you are deceiving others with your videos and blogs.  I ask you to repent!  

Take the time to think things through instead of trying to find a way to pin biblical prophecy on to anything that remotely looks appealing.  I've seen biblical prophecy twisted to the point where it's being used to validate an idea that has nothing to do with the scripture being used.  Stop it!
